Se va la Segunda Ronda

Resultados de las elecciones Presidenciales en Timor-Leste del 17 de Marzo 2012. Comentarios. Y se va la segunda ronda para Presidente.

Salió todo bien. Se quedaron contentos todos y se felicitaron mutuamente: el gobierno, las organizaciones de ayuda, las NGO’s, la UN. El proyecto de elecciones pacíficas de la CNE (campaña de Public Information donde participó activamente unos de los autores ausentes del blob) se puede considerar otro éxito. Tan contentos se quedaron todos que la autora ausente del blog se queda sin contrato! Pero sabíamos que era así: el 2012 es count-down para la salida.

Resultados

Imposible que ningún candidato alcanzase la mayoría, así que se va a la segunda ronda entre los 2 primeros:
  • Francisco Guterres “Lú-Olo”, con el 28.76% de los votos y
  • Taur Matan Ruak, con el 25.71%
Los dos siguientes dependiendo a quién apoyen tienen poder para decidir el ganador de la siguiente ronda:
  • en el 3er puesto quedó José Ramos Hortas (actual Presidente) con el 17.48% y
  • en el 4to está Fernando La Sama de Araujo con el 17.30%
Con Albertina trabajando en el organismo encargado de dar el conteo oficial de los votos, la CNE, se imaginan que su stress no terminó el día de la votación sino casi 5 días después cuando la CNE entregó los resultados provisorios a ser validados por el Tribunal de Recurso (Appeals en Inglés). Las chicas tienen a una mamá cansada en este momento…
